Pagaruyung Palace

Pagaruyung Palace, loacated in Batusangkar, West Sumatra is the place where the Pagaruyung Kingdom used to live in the 1800s. After being destroyed by a fire on February 27, 2007, it was estimated that only 15 percent of the valuable artifacts survived the fire. The heirloom of the Pagaruyung Kingdom was stored in Silinduang Bulan Palace, located about 2 kilometers from the palace itself.
